British Magazine KERRANG! recently polled their readers to find the most influential band of the last 30 years. Some bands may have made it aboard the list prematurely, but thrash metal vets Metallica came out on top. Check out the full list and tell us what you think here.

To celebrate 30 years in print the magazine asked what bands have been the most influential in rock during their existence. Some of the results were obvious and others quite surprising, check it out:

01. METALLICA
02. GREEN DAY
03. IRON MAIDEN
04. SLIPKNOT
05. MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
06. LINKIN PARK
07. BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE
08. BLINK 182
09. OZZY OSBOURNE
10. FOO FIGHTERS

Now Metallica, Slipknot, Maiden, Ozzy, and Linkin Park are understandable; we hear the echoes of their influence everyday on the radio. But have Blink and Green Day influenced that many rock artists that you can think of ? Have Bullet for My Valentine and My Chem been around long enough to make that big of a splash in the last 30 years of rock? Finally, have the Foo Fighters (don't get me wrong, I love the band) really been more influential than Dave Grohl's previous band Nirvana? If I remember correctly they almost single-handedly changed the face of popular music in the early nineties, I'd say that's pretty influential.

Enough of my BS; who do you think is missing from, deserving of their spot, and ranked way too high on this list?
