Another business has decided to turn customers away for their life choices, except this time it's an automotive repair shop in West Michigan.

Indiana recently saw a similar uproar when a pizzeria publicly announced that they wouldn't cater gay weddings. That's actually pretty funny, because most gay people I've encountered would go back in the closet before they had a pizza wedding. What isn't funny is that Indiana has a new law that protects that sort of prejudice. What's really not funny is that, thanks to hate-mongers with too much money, these idiots almost became millionaires by way of a Gofundme page setup to "support them." For real, they made $842,442 for being dicks, basically.

In the weeks since that story broke, I had joked with people about setting up a fake business just so I could say I refuse gays as customers. Then I could get thousands of dollars from idiots on Gofundme, which I would then, very publicly, donate to gay organizations... well, most of it anyway. However, I could never do something that ugly, even if it did secretly have a well-intentioned endgame. One Michigan business clearly doesn't have that problem or a well-intentioned endgame.

Dieseltec, an automotive repair business in Grandville, Michigan, decided to flex their "rights as American conservatives" on Facebook this week (see full post at bottom of article). Not only did their lengthy rant make it clear they will deny service to openly gay people, but they also said they'll offer discounts to people carrying guns. I get that some people think homosexuality is a sin, but who can afford to turn away business in this economy? And offering discounts to any a-hole carrying a gun is just a recipe for disaster.

If you're among the 1 out of every 25 people that actually read this article instead of just watching the video and moving on, you're probably pretty clear on my views here. I am not a homosexual, but I'm also not down with the recent re-branding of racism, hatred and prejudice as "freedom of religion." Yes, the Bible says homosexuality is a sin. There are a lot of good ideas in that book, but it's just as full of crazy s***, if not moreso. If you're going to live your life by the words on those pages, why not deny service to people that eat pork and have tattoos as well? Doesn't following only the parts that cater to your personal politics make you a hypocrite? Are there any horse socks? Is anyone listening to me?

Sorry for trailing off there, I've been on a real 'Billy Madison' kick lately. Honestly, these guys probably did this just to make money on Gofundme. There was a page setup briefly, but it was taken down before I could link to it. Perhaps the only funny part about this is all the pictures the internet has been tagging Dieseltec in -- click here to see their now hilarious photo gallery. Seriously though, we'll never get anything done as a country if we keep getting hung up issues like this and whether or not climate change is a real thing.

Enough is enough. Our rights as conservative Americans are being squashed more and more everyday. Apparently if you...
