MI Lottery Winner Will No Longer Recieve Food Stamps

This story has had people pissed off the last few days. Amanda Clayton of  Michigan won one million dollars in the lottery and for some reason was still receiving food stamps. Clayton purchased a new car, a home but apparently thought she was still entitled to assistance.

Clayton claims she is still struggling and continued to use the aid since the state continued to send it to her. She goes on to say, quote:

"I feel that it's okay because I mean, I have no income and I have bills to pay," she said. "I have two houses."

The Department of Human Services has now pulled the $200 dollars a month in food stamps Clayton was receiving. Local 4 News was the first to break this story. Click here to watch more regarding this hot issue.
