Emily Williams who is the creator of 'Slice of Sauce' grew up in a small town in Michigan with her father, a restaurant owner. He was apparently famous for his flavor-packed sauces. Wanting to get back to her roots and ditch her suit, Williams started experimenting with her father's recipes and eventually came up with slices of ketchup.

I'm not a huge fan of ketchup so I don't have a strong opinion about this but it does seem like it would be really weird. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I just don't think I would like the texture of Ketchup slices. It would literally feel like a ketchup fruit roll-up which is what some people have already posted on social media about 'Slice of Sauce'. Other people think it's a great idea.

According to Time, Williams says “The slice is going to revolutionize the way that we sauce. But it’s also all-natural, no preservatives. This flavor is the real deal.” I guess we'll have to wait and see. Her Kickstarter campaign has already passed its goal of $15,000.

I may have a hard time dipping my Tator-Tots in a slice of ketchup but I'll give it a try when it becomes available lol.

William's isn't the first to come up with the idea of Ketchup slices as Maggie posted a story about a restaurant owner that did the same in 2015.
