MI Police Find Suspect in Leaf Pile With Thermal Imaging Device

What do you call a man hiding in a leaf pile?  If you guessed meth maker - you win!

Michigan police found a man hiding in a leaf pile after responding to an alarm at a restaurant in Hastings, MI.  The responding officer was able to locate the suspect by using a thermal imaging device.

Mlive is reporting that the man then ran from the leaf pile and jumped into a nearby river.  The man either lost or took off his back pack, because it was found by authorities.   Apparently there was "meth waste" inside the back pack, linking the suspect to a meth making hotel room near by.

This river rat is now facing drug charges on top of probation problems.  Even a leaf pile cannot hide stupid.
