Massive, Fan-Favorite Convention Returns to Novi in May 2024

Mark your calendars for another awesome event in Michigan.

This past weekend, the Fall Edition of Motor City Comic Con took place at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan. This event brings thousands and thousands of people from Michigan and other states to see their favorite artists, celebrities, artwork, and more.

Motor City Comic Con is one of the premiere comic conventions around. The three-day event showcases hundreds of artists, vendors, cosplayers, and more for families to check out and enjoy. After another hugely successful weekend, the dates for the next convention have been announced and MC3 will return May 17th through 19th, 2024.

MC3 is one of my favorite events of the year. My family and friends love going to it. Over the weekend, the convention welcomed many of my favorite celebs such as Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Billy Dee Williams, and so many more. We look forward to it every year as we always see and/or discover something new.

The costumes alone are worth the price of admission. We saw so many creative and well-put-together costumes, but the Jawa pictured above was my favorite. The person behind the mask really nailed this one.

You never know what you'll find at Motor City Comic Con. This year would stumbled across some Michael Jackson playing cards from Topps as well as a Golden Girls Mount Rushmore. Anyone who says they don't need either one of those is lying to you.

As a huge Star Wars fan, I always enjoy seeing the 501st Legion there and this year they were raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation with their Blast-a-Trooper booth. Kids were able to donate and then take shots at the troopers with a NERF gun. They were able to raise $850 over the weekend!

I can't wait to see the celebrity lineup for the next Motor City Comic Con! Until then, be sure to mark your calendars for May 17th through May 19th, 2024.
