How many Michigan police officers does it take to catch a guy on a moped? Although you might be waiting for the punch line for what sounds like a bad joke, a recent video published on You Tube reveals the answer to be somewhere between 7 and 11.

In the video, which was posted by Cartoon Test, you can hear police sirens in the distance, followed by a shot of a line of cop cars coming up the street in pursuit of a man riding a motor scooter.

“Oh, sh*t,” the cameraman says, chuckling at the lunacy before him.

The scooter flies by the view of the camera at probably 40mph, police cruisers following close behind. A change in the angle of the camera reveals officers taking separate streets in hopes of cutting the culprit off at the next intersection. This causes the man filming to say what all of us were thinking after watching this spectacle several times…simply “Wow.”

Although we do not know what the suspect was wanted for, we are pretty sure that if it takes more than 10 cops to stop a vehicle this slow, it is probably time to reassess the overall scope of the department's functionality.
