A Michigan man claims he is being harassed by the Midland Police Department because they have pulled him over repeatedly for no reason and unleashed a drug-sniffing dog on his vehicle.

The most recent incident occurred over the weekend when officers pulled Patrick Obsowski over for “improper lane usage” and then brought out a dog to search for dope.

In the above YouTube video, you can watch the whole scene unfold. Interestingly, this is the first time we have seen a cop order a driver to surrender his keys out of concern for being run over. “It’s for my safety, your safety and my dog’s safety,” said the officer in regards to why he was forcing Obsowski to give up his keys.

It is apparent the officer is not thrilled about being videoed during the shakedown, which is likely the reason he did everything in his power to disable Obsowski’s ability to use his cell phone without blatantly forcing him to stop filming. The officer forces him to keep his hands on the steering wheel, and then tells him the dog might attack him if he moves his hands. “Take your hands down, the dog may take that aggressively towards him, I do not want him to bite you, you understand that?” says the officer.

The officer did not find any drugs -- they never do, according to Obsowski, who claims this is his third time being stopped and searched for drugs. “Got pulled over for a minor traffic violation. Cop pulled me out of my car and took my phone out of my hands. I was lucky to be able to lock my phone so the video i have wouldn’t be deleted,” said Obsowski in his video description dated January 31, 2015.

In the comment section, Obsowski identifies the officers involved: "It is in Midland, Michigan. Officer Dubois, Officer Hampton and then after they took my phone Officer Hamilton showed up."

PINAC News recently reached out to 19-year-old Obsowski via Facebook. He says the cops do not like him because he stands up for his rights. However, this incident was the first time he attempted to document the harassment.
