Michigan Man Strangles Girlfriend Over Strip Club Dispute

A Michigan man has been sentenced to five years in prison after an argument with his girlfriend over a strip club led to him trying to choke her to death.

Reports indicate that 31-year-old Sean Jones attempted to strangle his girlfriend earlier this year when she became heated over the frequency in which he enjoyed watching other women take off their clothes for money. Yet, Jones was not having any of her drama, so he grabbed her by the neck and proceeded to try to calm her down… permanently.

However, neighbors heard the woman screaming, and placed a call to Johnny Law, which soon put an end to the domestic fight club.  When police arrived on the scene, the found the woman with bruises on her neck that they believed to be marks caused by strangulation.

Interestingly, police were somewhat confused over the fact that the argument was over strip clubs, especially since there are no strip clubs in Traverse County.
