Researchers from the University of Michigan recently published a study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine that indicates getting more sleep can lead to women having a more enjoyable sex life.

To come to this conclusion, researchers recruited over 170 college students to participate in a grueling survey covering sexuality and depression. For several weeks, the participants were asked to document their sexual encounters of the previous 24 hours and give a detailed account of how they slept the night before.

Interestingly, researchers found that women experienced an increase in sexual desire for every extra hour of sleep, which made the possibility of sex the following day 14 percent more likely. In addition, women who got more sleep experienced better "orgasmic functioning" than the women who didn't.

“Getting more sleep should not be expected to magically fix all sexual problems,” said study author, David A. Kalmbach. “Sexual problems often have multiple contributing factors, including mood, relationship quality, partner availability and, now we know, sleep health. I think it is important for women and health care professionals to be mindful of the relationship between sleep and sexual response.”

So, there you have it boys… if you want your significant other to start putting out more, make sure she is getting plenty of rest. Hell, let her hibernate... it could transform her into a sex starved nymphomaniac.
