Last night most of us were glued to our radios and television sets as multiple possible tornadoes hit Livingston, Shiawassee and Genesee counties. The damage was severe in Fenton, Mt. Morris and Goodrich.

Dee & Paul Grossman, who actually are friends of mine and live within a few miles of me, were hit hard by the storm in Fenton. Large trees came down on the roof of their home, porch and garage. Luckily, they are both okay.

Goodrich was also hit hard. Many residents are without power and the high school was damaged. At the time of the storm people were inside of the school. No injuries were reported.

ABC 12 reported that in one Mt. Morris neighborhood, three garages ended up in on backyard. As residents come together to pick up the pieces, the most important thing is that there were no casualties. Carpenter Rd. residents also experienced down trees and down power lines.
