Michigan Schools Rank Top Ten for Violent Threats

Perhaps it is time to start packing brass knuckles in your kid’s lunch in the morning. A new report indicates that Michigan schools are among the top ten states in America on a rapid increase for threats of violence.

According to researchers from National School Safety and Security Services, violent threats in schools in the United States are up nearly 160 percent – with Michigan ranking at number seven on the list. However, that is not to say that Michigan schools have the most violence.

Researchers admit that the majority of the threats in schools never amount to anyone getting hurt, but they are always treated with the utmost seriousness and a report is always made.
