Over the past 4 years, the so called little brother, Michigan State has beat Michigan in football, and Spartan head coach, Mark Dantonio isn't about to let anybody forget it.  Let's get the college football smack talking started.

Maybe it's because of Michigan State's recent success in football, but the big brother/little brother debate has heated up.  The Spartans have held the Paul Bunyan Trophy over the Wolverines for the past 4 years, while racking up 22 wins.  In the same time, the Wolverines have undergone a coaching change and some disappointing seasons. UM still has the all time record in games against MSU, at 67-30-5, but Spartan coach Mark Dantonio is only looking back four years. Dantonio was asked about the possibility of a Michigan Football program reemerging as a power in the Big Ten, but Dantonio wasn't concerned.  He was quoted saying, with a smirk on his face,

We've beat Michigan the last four years. So where's the threat?

I'll be doing a college football look a head for both teams in the next few weeks, but make no question about it, both teams, and fan bases, are counting down to October 10th, when the Spartans walk into the Big House.  I'm sure Dantonio's confidence and statements will be used as fuel for both.
