Saginaw area teenagers have the opportunity to learn first hand what it's like in the life of a real fire department.

It's always cool to see teenagers getting a taste of what to expect once they leave high school and have to decide what they want to do when they grow up. With so many career choices out there, it can be kind of intimidating to just pick one based on limited real world experiences.

Firefighter Chedrick Green tells WNEM  "What we wanna do is just give more kids an opportunity to see what it is that firefighters do. A lot of times they may see a firetruck go down the road or watch Chicago Fire on TV, but never really get to touch and actually see what it takes to be a firefighter".
