MicLordz & Sauce Funky Vs. Ghosts of August – Cockfight

Hailing from Windsor, Ontario this funk-rock-hip hop fusion act brings to mind a young Red Hot Chili Peppers and possibly Sublime, but with an approach they make their own. The band is currently out on the Hardcore Unity Tour with Hed PE, which makes it's stop at The Machine Shop this Saturday (Oct. 22nd). Ghosts of August kicked ass in The Cockfight last night against Emphatic, who were not an easy band to take down. Both bands gathered a ton of votes, but in the end the Detroit band stood victorious.Tonight appears to be an equally tough battle against the (also) up-and-coming funk rockers MicLordz and Sauce Funky.
