Mississippi Baby Cured Of HIV [VIDEO]
March 5, 2013 11:47 AM You heard it right. In a hospital in Mississippi an infant, which tested positive for HIV five times, was successfully cured of the infection. The baby was born to an HIV positive mother and began treatment at just 30 hours old.
This aggressive treatment with antiretroviral drugs has apparently worked. The baby, now two and a half years old, has been off the treatment for one year and has no signs of the virus in its system.
