Missouri Congressman Claims Victims of ‘Legitimate Rape’ Do Not Get Pregnant [VIDEO]

Republican Congressman, Todd Aiken recently stated that 'victims of legitimate rape have biological mechanisms in place to prevent pregnancy'. Are you kidding me? It does not matter if you are pro-choice or not, that is a ridiculous statement!  What are these 'supposed mechanisms'? Wishes? Can you wish a pregnancy away Congressman Aiken?

Mr. Aiken was appearing on the 'Jaco Report' when host, Charles Jaco asked the following question:

'If an abortion can be considered in the case of a tubal pregnancy [where the mother's life is threatened], what about in the case of rape? Should it be legal or not?'

Aiken responded with this:

'First of all, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare. If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.'

Seriously, this clown thinks your can actually shut out pregnancy?  Is it as easy as shutting a door?  Any rational person and or anyone with a BRAIN, knows that this is not true.  According to Mediate, Akin has since issued a statement saying he, 'misspoke'.  I'll say!
