More than 200 new jobs will be coming to the north side of Flint this year, and the good news couldn't have come at a better time.

While businesses continue to pull out of Flint, the news that new, quality jobs were moving in is definitely something to be happy about.

The jobs are here as a result of the former GM Flint Warehouse being sold to Johnston's Enterprises, LLC. WNEM is reporting that plenty of new jobs are on the way.

The facility will host Martin Transportation Systems, Inc. and Bay Logistics Inc.  They plan to hire about 150 drivers and 35 to 40 officer workers and mechanics, and 25 warehouse workers

City leaders have always said that redeveloping the old automotive facilities is a key factor in revitalizing Flint, and this is definitely a step in that direction.
