Reports are coming in that all Mott Community College campuses are closed this morning due to an active shooter threat.

WNEM is reporting that the college has closed until 1pm for what they described as an "active shooter".

UDPATE: All Mott locations will be closed for the entire day according to officials.

Details are very scarce right now, but officials are asking that everyone stay away from the campus until further notice.

The only public information that we have right now comes from the MCC twitter account.

Communications Specialists Dawn Hibbard told TV5 classes are being delayed as a precaution after a threat was somehow delivered to the campus. The president of the college was alerted to the threat and decided to close campus.

Here is an update from the Flint Police on the situation.
