Mr. T has been a certified badass ever since he beat the piss out of Rocky Balboa in 1982. Now T is set to return to the small screen with 'I Pity the Tool,' which is destined to be the greatest home improvement show of all time. Suck it, Bob Vila.

Since Vanilla Ice keeps getting arrested and threatening to kill himself, the DIY Network needs a new old-star to hitch their wagon to. They have found that wagon in Sir Lawrence Tureaud, better known as Mr. T. He ***33 YEAR OLD SPOILER ALERT*** beat the hell out of Rocky and killed Mick as the treacherous Clubber Lang in 'Rocky III,' but somehow still became a beloved and iconic figure in 80s pop culture. He went on to star as B.A. Baracus in 'The A-Team,' as well as his own Saturday morning cartoon. He had his own action figures, cereal... hell, he was even victorious at the first Wrestlemania. There are few human beings as revered and accomplished at Mr. T.

That's why I'm excited that he'll be bringing the pain to the home renovation world, which could use a good kick in the ass. It's a stale format that will pair perfectly with Mr. T's no-nonsense approach. The name 'I Pity the Tool' is painfully corny and nonsensical, but who cares? It's a f---ing Mr. T tv show! Plus, we know the Mother's Day special will be awesome (see below).
