New Mental Health Unit from U of M will Help Those With Depression and More [VIDEO]

Mental health is a very important topic, and I feel people are afraid to talk about it. This new treatment unit will provide the help that many people need. The U of M Department of Psychiatry's new $3.6 million site is set to open soon for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). This therapy will help those affected by bipolar disorder, schitzophrenia, depression and many other mental health conditions. According to ABC 12,  ECT is administered under sedation, and is a process based on electrical stimulation of the brain. Check out this video from U of M Health System for more information.
