New Nike Detroit Lions Jerseys

Just another reason to be pumped about the 2012 Lions season. Check out the new threads that Nike rolled out in Silver and Honolulu Blue.

So it's not a huge change.  But the Lions are still going to look pretty sharp in these.  Detroit just changed it's logo in 2009, so Nike wasn't aloud to drastically change the design or colors of the uniforms.  There is a 5 year minimum separation when it comes to changing the actual on helmet logo.

The main difference this year is the material that is used to make the uniforms.  Nike used a new fabric, designed to be sleeker and keep athletes drier and cooler than other fabrics.  The Lions will also be rocking new gloves, that create the Lions logo when hands are interlaced.
