While it still remains a mystery of whether or not Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic will perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Thursday (April 10), they will be appearing the night before on 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.'

The pair will be among the guests on Wednesday night's (April 9) airing, which also features 'Draft Day' actress Jennifer Garner and musical guest Stevie Nicks performing with house band The Roots.

While the pair are billed as though they are guests rather than music performers, it's not out of the question that they may play while on 'The Tonight Show.' And given the fact that Grohl's 'Sound City' documentary and tour collaborator Stevie Nicks is the music guest for the show would also lend some credence to the idea of Grohl and Novoselic breaking out their instruments.

Though making no mention of 'The Tonight Show' appearance, Krist Novoselic did post the following photo on Twitter of himself getting ready to fly to New York City for the Rock Hall festivities:

Nirvana will join KISS, Peter Gabriel, Linda Ronstadt, Hall and Oates and Cat Stevens as the 2014 Rock Hall induction class. The ceremony takes place Thursday night (April 10) at 7PM ET at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. People in the Cleveland area can purchase tickets to the Induction Simulcast being screened at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. HBO will also air an edited Rock Hall Induction Ceremony special on May 31.
