Officer Shoots Tangled Deer Apart, Angers Animal Activists [VIDEO]

Two deer in Illinois, were locked together by their antlers. It is reported that the tangle was the result of a battle between the two. A conservation officer, a forest preserve officer and state trooper were called to free the deer. What happened next has angered some people.

One of the responders was able to shoot the racks apart. The shot did not kill either buck. However, one deer did need to be put to sleep afterward, while the other survived.
