This is such a cool story. A Detroit man was working in Indiana when he received news that his 15-year-old sister was killed in a car accident. Without a car, Mark Ross asked a friend to drive him to the Motor City. It was a risky ride since the driver had a suspended license. As you can guess, they were pulled over in Ohio - but what happened next is a wonderful act of kindness.

It turns out Ross too had some legal troubles, an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Instead of going to jail another officer, Sgt. David Robison arrived the scene and offered to drive Ross to Detroit to be with his grieving family. As for the driver - he was taken to jail. Chris Monroe and Tony LaBrie tease me about having no heart (and a bad liver), but all kidding aside - this story does warm my cold itty bitty heart. Well done Sgt. Robison!
