Michigander Zach Gowen blew everyone away on 'American Ninja Warrior' last night by making it further than a lot of competitors with only one leg.

Zach was one of several Michigan competitors on last night's broadcast (although Grand Blanc's Dan Banura completed the course, placed 12th, and qualified for the city finals -- his run was cut from the broadcast) but the Livonia native's run was definitely the most impressive.

Gowen lost his leg to cancer at an early age, but he didn't let that stop him from his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. He went on to sign a 3-year deal with the WWE, and has shared the ring with the likes of Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and Vince McMahon. As impressive as that feat is, Zach proved last night that he's far from done blowing minds and beating long odds.

His run on the course last night was truly inspiring, especially his completion of the rolling log obstacle. Almost everyone who didn't lock both legs together failed on that part of the course. That strategy was obviously not an option for Zach, but he made it anyway. Move over, Kacy Catanzaro -- there's a new badass in town.
