Versailles Records are planning to release 'No More Tears: A Millennium Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne' next spring. Artists already on board include Motley Crue, Spinal Tap, Santana, and Ozzy?

The Ozzman will finally get the honor of having his music covered (but most likely butchered) by a random assortment of mostly mid-level acts. While some interesting artists have already signed on such as Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Santana, Spinal Tap, and guitar virtuoso Steve Vai, Blabbermouth reports that "seasoned" artists Slaughter, Night Ranger, Badlands, The Cult, L.A. Guns, Warrant, Dokken, and David Lee Roth are also in tow for the project. If we wanted to hear 80's versions of Ozzy songs, couldn't we just listen to 'Bark at the Moon'?

In addition to the "All-Star" cast involved with the tribute album, Ozzy Osbourne -- along with old mates Black Sabbath -- will rework some of his classic tracks to give them a modern edge.

Established acts aren't the only ones being asked to get involved -- Versailles Records has even set aside a limited number of tracks for new bands to get their Ozzy covers included. If you or your band would like to throw your name in the hat, email Versaillesrecords2006@yahoo.com with a link to your band's website or Soundcloud,Facebook, or MySpace.
