P.O.D.’s New Album Due For 2012, Download The Single ‘On Fire’

Christian rap metal outfit P.O.D., who burst onto the scene in the late 90's with 'Southtown', are coming back for more with their upcoming seventh studio album. Even though it wont see release until spring of 2012, we have the single 'On Fire' right here and you can download it for free!

P.O.D.'s career has not been without it's ups and downs. In their 19 years as a band they've gone from playing Slayer covers to being Christian rap rockers, had triple platinum albums, recorded with Katy Perry, changed record labels, seen guitarist Marcos Curiel leave the band and come back...we'll just say they've endured a lot.

The band is currently taking a break from recording their next album with producerHoward Benson, to join Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, Crossfade, and RED for the Rock Allegiance tour. P.O.D. has been working on the new record since late 2010 with hopes of a release for this year. Upon the release of their new single 'On Fire', it was revealed that the record wouldn't be ready to drop for another 8 months or so.
