As we revealed back in August, 20th Century Fox altered its original distribution plan for the 'Star Wars' 3D re-releases -- from dishing one out annually to giving them back-to-back releases -- with 'Attack of the Clones' and 'Revenge of the Sith' separated by a mere handful of weeks in late 2013.
Well, that has changed once again, as the studio has moved 'Sith' up; now it opens only two weeks after 'Attack of the Clones.' Find out the exact dates after the break.
Yesterday we learned that Michael Arndt had written a treatment for the upcoming 'Star Wars' sequel, currently called 'Episode 7,' but that didn't seem a confirmation that he had the job. Today it looks like his work has been approved and he's the first writer to take a crack at a new 'Star Wars' film.
Brian Posehn made and appearance on "Attack of the Show" to talk about his new role in the comic "Deadpool." Posehn has taken on writing the new series featuring the character Deadpool from Marvel Comics. He also talks about his three year old son and "Star Wars."

It was announced yesterday that Disney purchased Lucasfilm and its subsidiaries for $4 billion, with plans to release the first movie ('Star Wars: Episode 7') in a new planned 'Star Wars' trilogy in 2015. Although the additional news that these films will be based on an original story and not on any of the spin-off book series like fans were hoping, we are reportedly still in for an exciting ride.
According to author Dale Pollock, who wrote a biography on filmmaker George Lucas, the upcoming 'Star Wars' trilogy from Disney will be the most exciting 'Star Wars' films yet.
As you have surely heard, Disney bought Lucasfilm yesterday and promptly announced there would be three more Star Wars movies, with 'Episode VII' coming out in 2015.
The latest trilogy is going to pick up where 'Return of The Jedi' left off, meaning Luke, Han and Leia will all (presumably) be back. Of course the actors who played those roles will be 32 years older than they were when 'Return of the Jedi' came out so we don't think they will be cast again, outside of possible flashforward scenes.
When we heard that Lucasfilm was being bought by Disney for $4.05 billon, and that Star Wars Episode 7 is set to release in 2015, our brains started working overtime.
