The 2012 Carnival of Madness lineup has been announced and with female fronted bands Evanescence and Halestorm leading the charge, the annual tour is chock full of girl power. This year’s Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio, will be it’s biggest installment to date. The festival has just announced complete set times, as well as the stages on which you can catch your favorite artists.
The release of Halestorm’s “The Strange Case of…” is inching closer and closer, and when the set arrives on April 10, singer Lzzy Hale says to expect something unlike anything that Halestorm have spit out before. Speaking with the Pulse of Radio (via Blabbermouth), Hale explained that fans are “going to be hearing and tasting a lot of different sides of Halestorm” on the album.
Staind are heating up radio with their hard-rocking new single ‘Eyes Wide Open’ off of their 2011 self-titled disc, and now Loudwire is proud to exclusively premiere the music video for the tune. Shortly before the release of his ‘Avalon Live’ box set, Godsmack frontman Sully Erna will take his solo act on the road for a series of east coast shows starting this March.
Details have been revealed for Godsmack frontman Sully Erna‘s upcoming live DVD, which features Erna performing songs from his debut solo effort ‘Avalon’ and will be part of a box set loaded with extras like a documentary, posters, incense and more.

Godsmack have a couple of projects in the works for 2012, one of which is an EP where the band covers songs that inspired them over the years. According to frontman Sully Erna, we may hear the new covers very soon.
