Pearl Jam have unleashed their brand new single 'Mind Your Manners' for our listening pleasure, as well as the title of their new album 'Lightning Bolt,' which will be released in 2013. Hear the track and and find out when their tenth studio album drops here.

It's been a long road for Pearl Jam fans awaiting the follow up to 2009's 'Backspacer.' In fact, the nearly 4-year period since their last release (officially 4 years as of 9/20/13) marks the largest gap in the Seattle rock band's discography. Being that it is also their tenth album -- a number which holds a ton of symbolic meaning to the fans and band alike -- many are hoping for the release will be something really special.

We get the first taste of that album, titled 'Lightning Bolt,' today with the release of the lead single 'Mind Your Manners,' a surprisingly Motorhead-esque tune that proves to the nay-sayers that PJ can still kick ass, despite all the miles they've put behind them.

While most of the album's other tunes remain a mystery, there has been some early buzz about a mid-tempo ballad called 'Sirens,' which is rumored to feature some of Mike McCready's finest work. 'Of the Earth,' another song heavily rumored to be included on the disc, was initially conceived during the 'Backspacer' sessions and has been performed live on occasion (click here to see pro-shot footage of a 2011 performance). As for the rest, we'll have to wait and see... or hear, actually, until their new album 'Lighning Bolt' is released on October 15th.

The band also recently announced their North American tour, which, unfortunately for us here in Michigan, largely neglects the Midwest.
