The NFL has recently changed it's rules to better protect it's players. And now porn is following suit. Recent laws have been put into place, outlawing penetration with out protection in professionally made pornography.

I'm not going to lie, I'm not happy about this.  I think porn is supposed appeal to your fantasies, and let's face the facts here, nobody is fantasizing about wearing a rubber.  But health groups in California have finally passed a law that states any porn made in LA must wear protection when vaginally penetrating.  NME originally reported on the story and draws attention to the fact that the regulation was put into place to protect the performers from AIDS and other STD's.

While porn stars are checked for diseases regularly, some STDs can be undetectable up to two months after initial infection.  In the past, porn stars with HIV have infected their screen partners, bringing the entire industry to it's knees.

I understand that sometimes you need to protect people from themselves, and if porn stars can make more money doing bareback/cream-pie/bukkake films, they are going to, regardless of risk.  Many industry insiders predict a mass exodus from LA, where over 90% of American porn is filmed.  Regardless, I'm glad my computer is stocked up with the good stuff.
