For the last several months a field in Durand has laid vacant and residents began to wonder what the land was going to be used for. Looks like the mystery might be solved and Durand could see a new steel plant.
New Steele International, out of Ohio, is looking to build the new plant there which could mean hundreds of jobs for the community.
