Regardless of how cold it gets, ice cream is always delicious. However, if you have purchased the Purple Cow Orange Ice Cream Bars at Meijer, you need to read this.

The ice cream bars made by Fieldbrook Foods Corp. of Dunkirk, N.Y., are being recalled. The company has issued a recall of 320 cases for possible listeria contamination.

The box comes with 12 bars and were produced on Nov. 30, 2017 with a “best by” date of Nov. 30, 2018. Fortunately, no illnesses have been reported and this is just a precaution.

If you bought the recalled Orange Cream Bars you might want to return them to a Meijer store for a full refund. Anyone with questions can call 1-800-333-0805 ext. 2270.
