The Red Hot Chili Peppers may be out of commission right now, but they're not letting that ruin their 2012 plans. The future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees just added 16 more dates to their recently postponed tour of North America.

Lead Chili Pepper Anthony Kiedis is currently on the mend after a serious foot injury and subsequent surgery, which forced the band to push back many of their initially scheduled dates for the upcoming tour in support of 'I'm With You.' The band still plans to make up all of the dates -- though some were moved back as much as eight months (click here for previously announced dates). Most tickets go on sale Friday January, 27th.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14th and may also be honored with a Grammy for 'Rock Album of the Year' on February 12th.
