The Red Hot Chili Peppers have unleashed an official mobile app that will keep fans up to date with the band and offer exclusive premieres of new videos, songs, and more.

RHCP recently had to postpone their tour after Anthony Kiedis underwent surgery to repair a foot injury -- this is the perfect example of the type of news you would get early notification of with the new RHCP app. The new app is now available for free on both the Android Market and iTunes Store and will also offer exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming Chili Pepper projects -- like a behind-the-scenes look at their upcoming music video for 'Look Around.' The app also includes music, photos of the band, videos, a fan wall, tour dates, and more.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will begin their upcoming U.S. tour two months later than originally planned and have been forced to push back some dates more than eight months in lieu of Kiedis' injury -- click here for the list of rescheduled dates.
