According to Yahoo! Sports, Reebok made NFL players custom gloves and shoes to be worn on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, but this could be a fineable offense by the NFL if players choose to wear the gear. The NFL once fined Peyton Manning when he chose to break the NFL's strict uniform code -- if they adhere to this strict code, there could be multiple fines in the league.

Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs tweeted about the shoes and gloves:

"55Berger lance briggs - For the anniversary of 9/11 game why is it if I wear shoes and gloves that are the colors of r nations flag..I will be fined by the league"

"55Berger lance briggs - Reebok great job on these gloves and shoes..looks like I'm getting fined this week. Lol!"

Also tweeting about the gear is Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles:

"jcharles25 Jamaal Charles - I Have some commemorative 9/11 gloves & cleats for the weekend game.. That #reebok made me. I never forget."

Why would the NFL supply pink equipment for Breast Cancer Awareness month during October, but not allow its players to wear red, white and blue cleats and gloves to commerate the 10th anniversary of one of America's most tragic events? Do you think this is fair to the players?
