I am not sure how I feel about this.  Henry Rollins recently admitted he helped convicted murderer Charles Manson produce an album of acoustic songs in the 1980's.

The music never made it to market due to resistance the distributor, SST Records faced.

Rollins who has broadened his career from singing to acting now travels as a spoken word artist and played a track from Manson at a performance in Los Angeles last week.  Henry told the audience that there are 5 test copies of the vinyl record and he (Henry Rollins)  is the owner.  Creepy.

You may remember "The Spaghetti Incident" album by Guns N' Roses.  Song #13 is "Look At Your Game Girl".  The song was written by Charles Manson.  Axl is the only member that wanted to cover this song.  As a matter of fact, he is the only one performing on the track.  The guitar player is not Slash.  It was a cat named Carlos Booey.

Each of these accounts makes me uneasy.  I read the book "Helter Skelter" by Vincent Bugliosi.  The story of the Manson murders.  It is horrifying.

In a 2008 interview with NME.com Henry Rollins admitted that he was pen pals with Charles Manson.  He says:

"I'd always know when I'd have a letter in my PO Box from him because the woman behind the counter would give you this awful look".

I'll say!
