Saginaw Sting Finish Undefeated Season With CIFL Championship
The Saginaw Sting capped off their perfect season last night, when they delivered at 37-7 beat down against the Dayton Silverbacks in the Continental Indoor Football League championship.

Considering that football fans across Michigan had to witness the imperfection of the 2008 Detroit Lions, the perfect season for the Saginaw Sting has to be celebrated. The Sting dominated the championship game over the Dayton Silverbacks, winning the game by 35-7 at the Dow Event Center.
It’s the teams 3rd championship in four years and it comes in the first year of new head coach, Fred Townsend. Sting players get paid around $200 per week, with winning incentives.
