Saint Asonia certainly have the rock world buzzing. The new band featuring some hit-making members took the stage over the weekend at the Rock on the Range Festival in Columbus, Ohio, marking their first live performance.

The group consists of former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier, Staind guitarist Mike Mushok, former Dark New Day bassist Corey Lowery and ex-Finger Eleven drummer Rich Beddoe.

The band initially came together with Gontier and Mushok collaborating on writing sessions and soon they began to realize they had a solid start to making an album. Mushok recently stated, "I was looking for a project to do while Staind is on hiatus and the opportunity to work with Adam on writing and recording new music was something I couldn't pass up."

Saint Asonia recently revealed their new single "Better Place" and the performance of that track can be viewed above. There were also a few other new songs in their set as "Fairytale" and the set closer "Let Me Live My Life" can be viewed below. They also played covers of Three Days Grace's "I Hate Everything About You" and Staind's "Mudshovel," as well as "Dying Slowly."

The group is currently finalizing the details on their debut album, which is tentatively expected this summer. Stay tuned for release details and additional tour dates being added.
