A week ago I asked our listening audience here at the Banana to send me a brief story about where you, a family member, or friend has served our country, along with unit number, and a pic. While the response was overwhelming we still want to pay tribute to those who did send in their pics. And, even if your Veteran isn't listed in this post myself along with the rest of the Banana 101.5 crew would like to thank ALL who have served in defense of this great nation. And also, a thanks to you, the friends and family of our Veterans, for always remembering our men and women in uniform.

However, he did serve during Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Unified Assistance (Tsunami Relief in Indonesia). The latter of which is something he is proud of most. Dan Kato

Dan Kato

Although we don't know what Dan's rank is he looks like a hard charger, ready to roll and bust some skulls with the rest of his boys in the 455th Air Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Sgt. Tim Morley (Sarge)

Sgt. Tim Morley

Yep, it's not just a (not so) clever name. Before joining the team and taking over the airwaves at Banana 101.5,  I served proudly for 8 1/2 years in the United States Marines Corps as an Infantryman with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines and later with 3rd Battalion,1st Marines with a stop in between as a Combat Instructor at the School of Infantry (west), Camp Pendleton, California.
