Saving Abel were in town last Saturday for Lansing’s Common Ground Music Festival, and I had the chance to interview guitarist Jason Null the day of the show about the band’s new album, ‘Bringing Down the Giant,’ which is out tomorrow (July 17). Saving Abel play the Machine Shop this Friday (July 20), and Null gushed about how much he loves playing Flint. Watch the video below!

“I love playing Michigan—Flint, Michigan, in particular,” Null said during the Lansing State Journal chat. “I don’t know what it is about that place, but the Machine Shop, the guys that own the place and run it are just like family to us now. It’s just one of those towns that you pull into and you don’t know who’s going to show up. I honestly think we could play three or four nights and sell it out every night.

“But Michigan, in general, is just a wonderful place to come and play. You’ve got some real true rock ‘n’ roll music lovers here!” That we do!
