I know I've said it a million times but thank you for making Loudwire Live the most amazing year to date.

I was blown away by the number of people that showed up to the Dort Federal Event Center this year. I know I shouldn't be because of the solid line up, great food, and vendors.

When it comes to the bands, I think it's safe to say that Puddle of Mudd surprised everyone with how great they sounded. I don't think anyone really knew what to expect with Wes Scantlin's past shenanigans. Without even asking, Wes and the guys went into the merch tent to meet with fans for well over an hour after their killer performance.

In my opinion, Theory of a Deadman was the best overall sounding band. They sounded so big and smooth on that stage from the second they started their set. Singer Tyler Connolly owned the audience with his powerful pipes and witty personality.

My favorite band of the day was Detroit's Wilson who headlined the main stage. They sounded like an entirely different band with their new sound. At one point, someone walked up to me and said: "What the hell happened to Wilson?" This was the one band that truly brought the fun to Loudwire Live especially when they covered Cake's 'The Distance."

Thanks to DnA Design Company for producing the 2018 Loudwire Live recap video below.
