Move over, Kirsten Dunst. There are plans afoot to include Mary Jane Watson in the 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' and it looks like Shailene Woodley, star of the Oscar-nominated 'The Descendants' is in talks for the role.

After the critical panning of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' it was unclear if director Marc Webb would return or if we'd even get another Spidey film at all, but Sony forged ahead with their plans and it turns out they're bringing Webb back into the -- sorry, we have to say it -- web, after all.

Peter Parker's love interest Mary Jane Watson will apparently feature in the sequel, which is bad news for Gwen Stacey, but good news for the lucky actress who wins the role. Variety reports that Shailene Woodley is currently in talks for the beloved redhead role. Woodley is best known for her roles in Alexander Payne's 'The Descendants' and the television series 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager.' She's a beautiful, talented young actress who might be right for the part.

The article also mentions that the movie is currently casting for the two villains in the film, one of whom will be Electro, the supervillain who can control electricity.

But what do you guys think? Would Woodley make the perfect Mary Jane, or is there someone else you'd rather see locking lips with Peter Parker on the big screen?
