Shiawassee Woman Killed In Vehicle, Train Accident

Tragedy struck Shiawassee County yesterday when a woman collided with a westbound train. The accident happened on Beardlee Road between Bath and Beard Road just before 11 p.m. last night.

While heading north on Beardslee Road, the 46-year-old woman from Morrice collided with the train. She was pronounced dead at the scene and thankfully, no one else was in the car with her.

Authorities are still investigating that accident.
