A lot of  conflicting stories seem to be coming out of Slipknot's camp when it comes to new music and touring.

According to Shawn "Clown" Crahan, Slipknot will reconvene this spring to prepare for a summer tour.  In the past any mention of a tour has been denied by Corey Taylor.

If this pans out it will be their first shows since the death of bassist Paul Gray.

Clown tells Kerrang! quote,:

"There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about Paul.   I'm looking forward to reuniting with my brothers in May to begin preparing for festival shows".

As of now reports say the shows will take place overseas, no North America dates have been announced.
