Soundgarden accidentally spilled the beans about the lineup for the upcoming Download Festival a bit earlier than Live Nation wanted the info to be known.

A representative from Soundgarden's camp got a little overzealous when announcing the band's involvement in this year's Download Festival in the UK. The person in question uploaded the message with an image of an early promo poster for the event (which you can see below) that featured several other acts -- one of them being Little Angels, who will reunite at the festival for the first time since the mid 1990s.

The promo poster also named headliners Metallica and The Prodigy as well as Biffy Clyro, Machine Head, Tenacious D, and others. Previously announced headliners Black Sabbath appear on the poster and, according to the festival organizers, are still planning to perform despite Tony Iommi's recent Lymphoma diagnosis.

Soundgarden are planning several overseas dates this summer including the Pinkpop and Sweden Rock Festivals in addition to the Download Festival, which runs June 8th through the 10th in Donnington Park. Their first new album in 16 years is most likely finished and has a tentative release date for this spring.
