Despite all the on-again off-again reports in regards to the fifth film installment in the saga of John Rambo, Sylvester Stallone has announced that not only is he ready to put the red headband back on, but he's making a run for the border.

Sylvester Stallone has said previously that Rambo 5 would happen and that the project was dead. Then there were rumors of his role being re-cast, etc. According to Worst Previews, Stallone confirmed that Rambo 5 is back on during an appearance at a benefit for the Canadian Diabetes Association.

"I'm dying to do another 'Rambo. He's in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico," Stallone revealed. "I don't think Rambo likes Mexicans." Stallone was most likely joking with the latter part of his statement, we all know that once he gets to Mexico he'll end up facing off against the Russians somehow (a la 'First Blood: Part Two').

Perhaps when they shot the upcoming mega-action film 'The Expendables 2' as a PG-13 affair (at Chuck Norris' insistence) Stallone wanted to get back to hardcore action where you can cut a guy in half with a mounted machine gun (see 'Rambo' clip below). 'The Expendables 2' starring Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jet Li, and Jean Claude Van Damme will be in theaters August 17th. It was also recently announced that Stallone will co-star with Schwarzenegger in a prison break movie called 'The Tomb.'
