All has been quiet on the Star Wars: Episode VIII front since production wrapped earlier this summer. We haven’t seen a trailer, official photos, or anything close to a synopsis. When it comes to a subtitle, don’t expect to hear anything for a while.

Daisy Ridley appeared on the podcast My Dad Wrote a Porno this week and Furious Fan Boys noticed the actress spoke briefly about Episode VIII (h/t Star Wars Underworld). When asked about the movie’s title Ridley said she’s heard it, but claims it might have changed:

I heard a title, but I’m not sure if it’s even going to be that. I really don’t know much about anything. […] I heard it, but I heard it a long time ago before we started filming, so I feel like some things have slightly tweaked during [production]. But it’s going to be a while before it’s released I imagine.

Hm so what could “a while” mean? If the past is any indication of Disney’s plans, we might only be a few months away from a title reveal. The Force Awakens didn’t get its official title until a month and a half before release, and if the studio has the same plan in mind for Episode VIII then we can expect a title around the first week of November. The Force Awakens also got its first trailer shortly after that, about a year and two weeks out from its release date. With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opening on December 16 this year, Disney might also be holding the first Episode VIII teaser to play in front of the first spin-off. But regardless, “a while” sounds like a good estimation, but it can’t be that long of a while.

Rian Johnson’s film, which officially wrapped last month, will also star the rest of The Force Awakens cast including Mark Hamill (who has dialogue this time!), Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac. Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro will also join in unknown roles. Star Wars: Episode VIII and whatever title it ends up having will hit theaters on December 15, 2017.
