Star Wars: The Force Awakens was, for most people, a deeply satisfying experience. Director J.J. Abrams and his cast and crew returned the franchise to its former glory, reuniting beloved old characters with exciting new ones. It was the best Star Wars movie in at least 30 years.

But for one particular group of fans, there was one major sticking point: Abrams introduced the corpulent junk dealing alien Unkar Plutt (played by Simon Pegg), but never showed what happened to him. One moment he’s bargaining with Rey for her new droid, the next Rey and her new friend Finn escape from Jakku in the Millennium Falcon. A devastated Plutt rages at them as they make their escape, and that’s the last we see of him. Hardcore Plutt fans, known as Pluttians, were devastated.

Finally, the fate of Plutt can be revealed. In this previously unseen deleted scene from The Force Awakens, Plutt shows up at Maz Kanata’s bar, looking to reclaim what he believes is his rightful property. He threatens Rey, who gets some backup in the form of Chewbacca. Now I don’t speak Chewbaccese, but I contacted a Chewbaccese translator who told me that his growls in this scene roughly mean “Excuse me sir, please stop bothering my young friend here. Also, your special effects don’t look quite as polished as they did in the actual Force Awakens film. But I guess that’s the nature of deleted scenes, right? You only spend the money on the scenes that don’t get deleted. Anyway, good day to you.”

The clip above cuts off there (this is all promo for a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D Blu-ray) but Entertainment Weekly has the scoop on what happens next., Chewbacca disarms Unkar Plutt in literal fashion. (“Limbs go flying,” is how they put it.) The Pluttians are gonna be so bummed about this. The 3D Collector’s Edition Blu-ray of Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives on November 15.
